We come from a family of maple farmers going back 4 generations and we strongly believe in preserving our land and its resources for our children and the future generations of the Plante Family all while providing the highest quality maple syrup to our customers. Our process is based on the original techniques and methods used for generations in our family; passed down to us by our father (Phil Plante) who grew up on a large farm in rural Canada. In the 1940s and 1950s, they made maple syrup using 4,000 taps all collected with buckets and horse drawn sleds.
