  • possibly from cleaning fluid come into contact with each other. This then causes a chemical reaction resulting in damage to the melamine surface. The worktops are also showing clear signs of impact damage and it has obviously occurred well after installation. All Wilsonart worktops are tested to EN438 British Standards by the laminate suppliers. They are also tested by FIRA to achieve the Gold Status Award. These tests include several impact testing therefore the worktop has suffered from an outside influence over and above the limits they are manufactured to and as such I would be unable to support a claim as it is not manufacturing related.
