Mental health counseling, personal fitness, martial arts, and integrative wellness with heart and soul. I use a variety of methods to help people explore, develop, and deepen their mental, emotional, and physical health; as well as emphasize the overlap therein to learn more about ourselves and connect with the world and people around us.I work with a variety of clients on an integrative and holistic wellness basis. I specialize in working with competitive athletes and first responders; emphasizing body-centered interventions including fitness, breathwork, and nutrition. Previously, I pioneered unique endeavors at the University of West Georgia as liaison between counseling, integrative wellness, and Division 1 athletics. In the past I have focused on adult and adolescent personality disorders, and the utilization of psychodynamic, person-centered, mentalization-based, DBT, and play therapy modalities.I believe that psychotherapy is a fundamentally relational process. With adolescents and adults I emphasize developing mood regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal relationships, and self-efficacy. With athletes and other performance-driven individuals I focus on the complexities of training, integration, and personal identity.I believe my role as a therapist is similar to both a detective and a tour guide in helping you navigate and explore who you are, where you've been, who you want to become, and where you want to go. I am also a personal trainer, certified nutrition coach, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, providing separate services at Integrity BJJ & Fitness.
Focused massage sessions, treating your specific needs.Hi, my name is Emily Boudwin. I've had ten years of hands on experience, working to relieve and reduce my clients chronic pain patterns.I've always enjoyed helping others. The one on one that I get with my clients, means that I get to focus on you and helping you to understand your muscular pain and discomfort. We get to explore together your pain and tension patterns and then work on lessening them. I will teach you about what I am doing.
